Hi and Welcome to my New Website!

Clicking on this section has brought you to the "Business" side of my life.  After successfully running a promotional company, POW! - Promoting Outstanding Writers for four years and representing over 150 clients, I have decided to focus on specializing on Authors and Artists with work ready to go to be seriously promoted. 

My fees are very reasonable.  No contracts or monthly committments.  Many things I offer are ala-cart.  The basic membership to join my group and sell your products in my store is $50 annually.  This entites you to list as many products in my store as you wish.  You set the price, you supply the products.  I take 15% of all online sales.   You also have access to  my Merchant Account to use for your own events.  You are able to accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and debit cards with the Visa logo, at your own personal events and shows.  We process the charges for you at a flat rate of 7% for bank charges processing fees.  This alone is well worth $50 a year, as anyone will tell you a good bank merchant account fee is that a month or more just to have the account.

At my $100 annual client fee, you get the above plus a listing on the My Clients page.  I make this list available with your bio, direct link to your website and picture.  I help you set up speaking engagements and give you speaker referrals.  Any referrals contacts you get from me for speaking you can arrange for yourself, or if would like me to help as your publicist, I can arrange and negotiate the speaking engagement for you at a small percentage fee.  Where else can you find a publicity consultant for $8.50 a month basically? 

My other services I offer are listed below.  Please contact me for your  one-on-one consultation and fee list.  As a writer, and times being how they are for all of us, I appreciate not only the value of a dollar, but how hard they are to come bys.  My services and fees are very reasonable.  You pay only for what you wish to have me do and help you with.

I accept authors of all genres (except pornography), musicians, artists, dancers, poets, performing artists, anyone and anything to do with the Arts, age 10 on up.  Must be serious about your promotions and be ready to work to get that dream.

QUERY LETTERS/PRESS RELEASES

Do you know what a query letter is?  I can help you query to publishers, agents, groups for speaking.  Once your product is done, or near completion I can help you send out press releases to let the rest of the world know. 

GROUP EVENTS/SPECIALITY EVENTS/ CONFERENCES

As part of my group you get first chance to be in group events that I set up, even workshops and conferences.  You can even get paid for these events from me! 

SPECIALITY EVENTS - SPECIAL LAUNCH PARTIES FOR BOOKS/NEW PRODUCTS EVENTS

I help set up the party, order the food, send out the press releases and invites, handle the sales at the event.  You show up, mingle, sell and smile.  I handle the rest.  Let's talk!  These are fun and profitable.  Invite your friends to a wine/cheese party, sell your stuff, make all the money minus bank charges for bank card sales.  You pay for the food, my fee is based on how big and how much is involved in the event.

Gosh, you will need to speak to my publicist to see what my schedule is and if I can speak at your event!   All $100 members get that FREE!  I'm not shy.  I will not let you speak to groups for nothing.  I will always negotiate the best deal for you. No more getting talked into doing freebies for your friends, refer them to your professional publicist.  You can't find anyone else to do all this for you for $8.50 a month basically.  It's a great deal.

BOOK REVIEWS/CRITIQUES/HELP WITH COVERS/PUBLISHERS/EDITORS

I will be glad to work with you one-on-one to help you get your dreams to fruitition if you are just starting out.  I can refer you to artists for your covers, editors for grammar help, publishers, agents.  I will be happy to read and critique and discuss your works one-on-one also. SPEAKER WORKSHOP EVALUATIONS/TRAINING/CRITIQUE

I want to help you make the most of your publicity, but this is what I am looking for in clients.  So, before you call or write me for your one free hour consultation you must have the following happening, so as to make this time beneficial to us both:

Be near too (within one year to six months) of completing a work, (book, Art, CD) or have work finished.  If work is finished, published, then it needs to be mailed to me BEFORE our consultation to see if I would be interested in representing it.  I don't take everything submitted.  If I am interested in seeing, talking to you about representation then I will get back in touch with you and we will set up your free consultation.  We can do this in person, or by telephone. 

I am not an AGENT, I am a PUBLICIST - Big difference.  Agents find you deals with publishers and take usually a 15% fee to help represent you for everything concerning that thereafter.  I am a publicist consultant, I can help you with finding an agent, writing query letters, setting up parties for you, selling your products through my online store, area events,  etc.  I do not edit, ghost write, publish, print, do your websites, business cards, I refer you out to other professionals I know for these needs.  My fees are fee for service.  The prices are not listed on this website, most of them are a basic fee we can discuss at the consultation, others would have varied prices and packages based on what your needs are.

I am interested in works/products from all authors/artists of all ages and genres (except porn - no thanks!).  I am looking for original, cool, unique stuff that will sell.  Come prepared with your business plan, or to talk about how to get one rolling.
